Home Acne Treatment News
Acne scars are what is left when someone has acne as a teenager or young adult. These scars are unsightly and can cause the person who has them to be self-conscious. There are effective methods that can remove the scars and return the skin to its former smoothness.
To determine how to prevent acne, let's look at how acne is caused. Between the nose and cheek areas of a persons face, there are up to 2000 oil glands. The primary function of these oil glands is to lubricate the skin. Oil in the glands reaches the surface of the skin by way of follicles.
Acne occurs when pores become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. When simple treatments for acne such as diet and skin cleansing fail, some individuals turn to prescription creams and antibiotics.
Popular acne treatments are sought out by both teens and adults. Each can have acne as a common condition; however, it is most prevalent with teens, and usually subsides in the early twenties as a constant issue.
